Prevent Firefox 3.5 Exit after Last Tab Closed

Prevent Firefox 3.5 Exit after Last Tab Closed

One of the new configuration option come with Firefox 3.5™s is the ability to change what happen when we close all tabs. In default, Firefox 3.5 will exit automatically when we close the last tab, just like Google Chrome. Forcing us to rerun the browser if we accidentally close that last tab.

Open Firefox 3.5, type about:config in the address bar without quotation marks, and search for browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab, double click the setting and change the value from True into False.

Now, after the last tab in Firefox 3.5™s closed, instead of exit, Firefox will display a blank tab.
